Signal Family is a native Mac app from Polity Interfaces. It combines the sources you connect with the people, responsibilities, and preferences you tell it about.
Add the people you care for and what you’re keeping track of. Your answers and later corrections stay saved on your Mac, ready for the next conversation.
Add personal and work Google accounts, choose individual calendars, and select Messages conversations on your Mac. You decide what contributes to your briefings.
Ask for today’s priorities or a look at the week ahead. Follow up, correct a detail, or save a preference. Optional routines prepare briefings while Signal is running.
Signal keeps its family workspace on your Mac. To prepare a briefing, relevant source text and family context are sent to the AI service you connect.
Read the full privacy policy ↗Signal looks for useful information. It does not send mail or change your calendar events.
Pause an inbox, deselect a calendar, or remove a connection in the app. Email sign-ins are stored in macOS Keychain.
Your connected AI provider processes information for your answers. Local storage does not mean local AI processing.
Yes. Connect each Google account separately and choose which inboxes contribute to briefings. Calendar selections are independent of each account’s email switch.
Email helps surface school notices, forms, reservations, and commitments. Calendar access lists the calendars you can choose and reads events from those you select. Your Google identity lets Signal keep each account’s connection separate. Relevant content is sent to your connected AI service when preparing answers.
An Apple silicon Mac running macOS 15 or later, an internet connection, and your own eligible ChatGPT account. Availability depends on the account’s Codex access. The current pilot focuses on the Mac; an iPhone app and automatic iCloud profile sync are not included.
Gmail imports cover the last 30 days per included account and arrive gradually. Microsoft imports cover up to 500 messages from the same period. Attachment contents are excluded. Selected calendars cover the previous seven days and next 45 days. Selected Messages conversations use recent messages available on this Mac. Missing sources and partial imports can leave gaps.
Signal is in a small personal pilot. Live integration testing and wider distribution are still in progress. Contact Polity Interfaces to ask about participating; there is no public installer on this page.
